About FIWGSA
FIWGSA is the Fish & Wildlife Graduate Student Association at Virginia Tech. All graduate students in the Department of Fish & Wildlife Conservation (FWC) are automatically a member.
Our goals are to support each other in both academic and social endeavors. Some examples of these efforts include academic and professional development programs and workshops, a variety of formal and informal group events, and fundraising activities for internal programming as well as supporting causes important to FIWGSA. We have designed this website to serve as a resource for current FWC graduate students, by compiling materials that have proven useful for students in the past: examples of program deliverables, the timing of specific course offerings, etc. If there is anything you'd like to see added to the page, please let us know using the contact form!

As part of FIWGSA's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), we have established a DEI Subcommittee: please see the dedicated webpage here.
